With all the options now available because of social media, modern couples have lots of ways to share this important event. According to the Travel Channel, the following are the Top 5 Proposal Popping Trends.

 

#5 Flash Mobs – These are usually large choreographed over-the-top public events (not for the shy or private types).

#4 Disneyland or Disney World – The fantasy element of these parks add a lot to the magic of the moment and a very popular trend.

#3 Destination Proposals – These are vacation proposals that sometimes incorporate family members as part of the surprise. Budget definitely plays a role here.

#2 Holiday Proposals – Many proposals occur during the Christmas or Thanksgiving season when families get together and the event can be shared. For those who enjoy a bit more privacy, Valentine’s Day is another popular option.           

#1 Recording The Moment – Whether a friend or photographer is asked to record the proposal, this special moment can be shared with friends and family on social media.
