This is such a wonderful time of year. The temperature may be a bit cooler outside, but people seem a lot warmer inside. We focus on the ones we care about. For those of us who have lost loved ones, however, this time of year can be bittersweet.
I lost my father and the holidays are mixed with sadness. I think about grandparents, my aunt and other friends and family that are no longer around to share this special time with.
I am certain many of our readers have also experienced loss. Please know you are not alone. Feel this loss but rejoice in the life around you. Keep close your memories. Holiday spirit is still very much alive. Your loved ones would not want you to miss the celebration.
